Chapter 13

1 This5124 is the third time5154 I am coming2064 to4314 you.5209 In1909 the mouth4750 of two1417 or2532 three5140 witnesses3144 shall every3956 word4487 be established.2476

2 I told you before,4280 and2532 foretell4302 you, as if5613 I were present,3918 the3588 second time;1208 and2532 being absent548 now3568 I write1125 to them which heretofore have sinned,4258 and2532 to all3956 other,3062 that,3754 if1437 I come2064 again,3825 I will not3756 spare: 5339

3 Since1893 ye seek2212 a proof1382 of Christ5547 speaking2980 in1722 me,1698 which3739 to1519 you-ward5209 is not weak,770 3756 but235 is mighty1414 in1722 you.5213

4 For1063 though2532 1487 he was crucified4717 through1537 weakness,769 yet235 he liveth2198 by1537 the power1411 of God.2316 For1063 we2249 also2532 are weak770 in1722 him,846 but235 we shall live2198 with4862 him846 by1537 the power1411 of God2316 toward1519 you.5209

5 Examine3985 yourselves,1438 whether1487 ye be2075 in1722 the3588 faith;4102 prove1381 your own selves.1438 2228 Know1921 ye not3756 your own selves,1438 2228 how that3754 Jesus2424 Christ5547 is2076 in1722 you,5213 except1509 ye be2075 reprobates?96

6 But1161 I trust1679 that3754 ye shall know1097 that3754 we2249 are2070 not3756 reprobates.96

7 Now1161 I pray2172 to4314 God2316 that ye5209 3361 do4160 no3367 evil;2556 not3756 that2443 we2249 should appear5316 approved,1384 but235 that2443 ye5210 should do4160 that which is honest,2570 though1161 we2249 be5600 as5613 reprobates.96

8 For1063 we can do1410 nothing5100 3756 against2596 the3588 truth,225 but235 for5228 the3588 truth.225

9 For1063 we are glad,5463 when3752 we2249 are weak,770 and1161 ye5210 are5600 strong:1415 and1161 this5124 also2532 we wish,2172 even your5216 perfection.2676

10 Therefore1223 5124 I write1125 these things5023 being absent,548 lest3363 being present3918 I should use5530 sharpness,664 according2596 to the3588 power1849 which3739 the3588 Lord2962 hath given1325 me3427 to1519 edification,3619 and2532 not3756 to1519 destruction.2506

3 爾曹欲得基督託我言之據乎、基督在爾中、非柔也、乃有能也、

4 昔基督柔、被釘十字架、賴上帝能而復生、我濟宗基督亦柔、賴上帝能、必與之生於爾中、

5 爾宜自省、信主否、亦宜自審、不自知乎、耶穌基督誠在爾心歟、抑爾果無撩歟、

6 吾欲爾知我非無據、

7 我求上帝、使爾不行惡、非爲示我有據、但余意不專在據也、惟願爾行善、

8 我所行者、非逆眞理、乃順之、

9 我柔而爾有、能則喜、余所願者、爾德備也、

10 余暌違時、以書遺爾、使我與爾晤對、不事嚴法、依主所賜之權、非以敗人、乃以輔德、

11 今而後、余請兄弟安、當爲德備受慰、同心輯和、賜仁愛平康者、上帝也、願祐爾焉、

12 接吻施禮、惟潔是宜、
